Alright, I’ve decided to write this after seeing so much moaning on twitter the last few days about games and what majo league gaming is doing. As soon as it was announced that call of duty wasn’t going to be at the winter championships a lot of people got angry. So what, if you wanted it, did you go and support it? Guess what its great you watch at home, but if people prefer doing that why would they take up venue space for the game?
I’m also really tired of the entire shooting community first/third, halo/cod/gears whatever flaming other games. We need to stand together to prove that we belong, or all the games will fall by the wayside.
Just because its slightly different game doesn’t make it worse or “gay”. Help each other grow as a community, stand by and support. And if your game isn’t at the mlg event. Go with friends and say hey, we are physically here, and would love to see our game here/back. By staying at home your proving why the game shouldn’t be there.

Also, I’ve recently been in a few battles about mlg gold and why they don’t get the arenas including. While somebody pointed it out themselves. Gold covers all events. You still get them, the arena is something completely different. This is a business people and guess what, nothing they do is free and they have upheld everything they say. Be grateful, it is so much harder than you could imagine to do what sundance, adam, and the whole crew does for us to enjoy this stuff. If you think you can do better, try, seriously these guys all chased a dream for us, one they didn’t need and now they are continuing to try and change and grow for us the fans. Be thankful, and remember there is a reason they do it, they aren’t making tons of money of you, they are passionate about doing something they love and so do you. Quit crying, or if you think you can do better, do it.

See you at winter championships

So I have decided that once a week, I’m going to write a little article about a friend. I decided to start with robskii, revenge was an obvious choice, and I figured that I don’t take enough jabs at rob.
So I’ve known rob for the last 4 year years since 2008. We’ve been through a lot together. Our friendship original crew back when he was dj robskii, and joined me in rgc. When we split to tgs he came with, and helped. At the time I was working nights and he was unemployed so we spent many a nights playing late, and than there were some late night phone calls. We would chat for hours, about everything, life, sports, gaming. Ideas were hatched and some have even come around.
We first met in person at mlg orlando 2009. Where we competed, and partied. We all hung out for a week and it was such a blast, that what the start of robskii using twitter, so being the social butterfly he was we met a lot of new people. Since than we have attended a few events together, and still chat and plan and everything else. If you don’t know robskii you should. He’s always looking to make new friends but not forgetting the old ones. So here’s to 2012 a big year of travel for me to see all the friends I’m going to talk about here.

Sorry for not using this much lately, I promise to do more so from now on (I hope). Anyways, I decided to take some time today to write about friends, specifically best friends. Its a funny notion, when I was younger I thought that I could only have one best friend, but than as I got older I started fighting that, because overtime I have developed so many friends that it would be hard to classify them as just good friends. Most of them are from meeting on the internet, because its a little like highschool. You choose who you want to hang out with, not because you work with them and see them all the time, but because you want to.

A best friend is somebody who no matter what will be there. Not a friend who will just support you but a friend who will tell you when your being a retard or whatever else. They always are proud of you, but won’t hesitate to put you in your place.

In my live I’ve had some amazing times, and some dreadful times. And I don’t know how much of it I would make without having surrounding myself with all the great friends and the whole tgs crew. I hope if your reading this you have people like that. Because nobody should go through life alone.

Whoa, sorry for the delay between posts, been kind of busy around these parts. between the holidays and everything true gaming this got a little ignored. I even knew on some days i should write but didn’t MY bad! If your reading this and not signed up on the website go now! there is so much going on. As I’ve been listening to different casts like the halo council, the real mlg voice and others over the last few days, I’ve heard lots of discussion about bloom/no bloom, sprint/no sprint and I agree the game is much better on the newer settings, I’ve actually gone on a few times to play reach, which I never really liked from the get go.

My biggest issue playing reach bloom or not has only made somewhat of a difference to me, my biggest issue was the fact that the flash is gone. Without a 4 shot, with the fact that it just took so much more to kill people, you just don’t see as many big plays. The DMR is just not as good being a single shot, it allows people more time to react to get away, with or without sprint. For example, on pit in halo 3 if somebody peaked out just a half step to far they were dead in the blink of an eye, but on reach the extra shot just allows running room.

Something else I feel has taken away from the game is medals. In other games medals were not a given on any game, but now you get one for avenging your death, or running away and living, or an assist. Pretty much anything, they’re just thrown at you. Over and over again, they lost there meaning. I want to see those little emblems come up because I actually worked to get them, not just cause I’m playing the game.

With all that being said, I think that zero bloom/no sprint is a step in the right direction, and probably the closest were going to get to put the halo back into reach. Here’s hoping that 343 Industries gives us the loved BR back, and makes halo, halo again.

So tonight after I get off of work n after Kayla’s work Christmas party… I will be slaving on the site a few hours. I am hoping to have the forums placed inside the main theme’s borders and have the sites menu incorporated on the forum tonight! The Members, and History pages should be up and running as well.
Xorth, the creator of Halo Tracker, will be getting up with me soon about putting his site as an affiliate to TGS. Hopefully he will post TGS on HTR once we are at 100%. Please, Please if you go to his site be respectful n don’t cause NE problems. His site is just what it says… A Halo stat tracking site! They are currently have the only one up on the web since they forced HaloCharts out of the business lolz

I have started my tuition assistance and am enrolling in college this spring. I will be tailoring my bachelors degree a bit to incorporate my career in Air Traffic Control with a little web design where I can. I can only hope I learn enough in college, n from Xorth sometimes, to make our site a one of a kind masterpiece.

Haven’t wrote on here in a few days, my bad! So my first thanksgiving/black friday was a blast. It wasnt nuts at all, it was pretty organized, and i got the new ps3 so add me on there! xGambiTx45 like usual!
